12-hour Blended Paediatric First Aid course Saturday 17th May 2025

Course involves 6-hours online learning (at your own pace) and 6-hours face-to-face (in order to practice procedures and talk through areas covered online) . On-line part of the course involves interactive quizzes, video and audio features.

After successful completion, candidates will be offered an accredited certificate (which meets the Ofsted & EYFS requirement) valid for 3 years. All courses include full Adrenaline-pen training & AED awareness :

- Primary Survey
- CPR
- Use of a Defibrillator
- Recovery positions / dealing with an unconscious casualty
- Choking
- Burns
- Bleeds : minor/major
- Meningitus / febrile convulsions / high temperatures
- Shock / electric shock
- Asthma
- Croup
- Fractures / sprains
- Head injuries
- Foreign bodies in ears, eyes, nose
- Poisoning including bites / stings
- Anaphylactic shock (inc. Adrenaline-pen training)
- Fainting
- Sickle cell anemia
- Diabetic emergencies
- Epilepsy
